Collingwood Art (Fall 2022)
During my visit to Collingwood (during Fall, 2022) I lived and breathed the natural beauty of the surrounding forests and trails, such as the ever popular Georgian trail. A vast network of interconnected wooded trails wind through glades, marshland, climbing to the higher ground of Blue Mountain, all brightly lit with the annual autumn reds, yellows, browns, yellow-greens and colours I can't name. As a trail runner my solitary travel is usually fast and silent. I try to cover as much ground as possible, while drinking in the experience, inhaling the pure cooled Georgian Bay air. Strange thoughts swirl all around, mixing with the slippery rooted earth, tripping me up on occasion.
